Today we had an introduction to level 5 lecture with Sharon, in this she covered all the standard things we need to know - changes that have happened within the uni, a handbook was given to us which had key information that we need to know about assessment submissions, contact details, information about the library, support for almost everything, where to go to find out almost anything (The hub!) but she then also started talking about how we should start thinking as independant learners. She spoke about how an independant learner would think and act when reading a brief, completing work, and thinking in general on a daily basis. I found this very interesting and took a lot from this lecture, I am going to note down what I want to be able to reflect on when tackling projects to come now as I believe thinking and working in this way will bring my grade up to be the grade I want.

I am going to try to think more like a level 6 student as much as I can in my approach to this year. I found this lecture really thought provoking so I am looking forward to see how taking more of an approach like this will help me improve at my work.
